About the author:

Tamara Pavićević is a film director and producer with a focus on social commentary and genre research. Through her previous feature films and documentaries, as well as video installations, she dealt with the topics of cultural memory, the consequences of war, mental health and coping with trauma. She has participated in prestigious programs such as the documentary workshop Atelier Varan and the Peace Congress Berlin, further emphasizing her commitment to social engagement through film. She is currently completing her master’s degree in film directing, and her thesis explores the intersection of feminist film theory and the characterization of female characters in horror films. She is the founder of a non-governmental organization focused on the development of cultural activities, promotion of human rights and environmental protection.
