After the grand opening and watching the film “No Other Land,” join us in Njegoš’s Park for a concert by the iconic Belgrade band Lira Vega and a performance by DJ Dejan Vučetić Vuča.

LIRA VEGA

The group “Lira Vega” was created in 1998 as part of the alternative theater troupe “Pozorište Šešira”. After two performances and a series of concerts under this name, in 2002 the band separated from the troupe and changed its name to “Lira Vega”. Originally a classic rock line-up (Dejan Utvar on drums, Nemanja Aćimović on bass guitar, Vladimir Đprđević on guitar and Zoja Borovčanin vocalist), the group recorded their first album “Lira Vega” and released it in 2004 under the publishing hou- se PGP RTS. Already on their next album, “Sreća i ljubav” (Beopolis, 2008), the group presents itself as a trio (Dejan Utvar leaves the band) and begins experimenting with synthesizers and rhythm machines. The third album “Duhovi” (Lampshade Media) was presented to the audience in 2015, and the group now consists of Zoja Borovčanin and Vladimir Đorđević.
