Zoran Predin is a Slovenian singer-songwriter, a Gemini by horoscope and a Balkan man at heart. Known for his provocative style and darkly humorous lyrics, even his fiercest critics acknowledge his witty originality and sparkling nonconformity. Over the course of his rich artistic career, he has released 45 original music albums, three books of poetry, a book of anecdotes titled “The Other Woman in the Harem”, a collection of short stories “Head Through the Wall”, and the novels “Mongolian Spots”, “Immaculate” and “Circus Astralis”. Director Slobodan Maksimović made a docudrama about him and his career, titled “Praslovan”. Predin has composed music for film and theatre, experimented with various music genres—from rock to gypsy swing—and performed around the world. He still enjoys dark humor, tripe stew, and quince brandy.
