In an intimate interview with the protagonist, the author goes through the detailed stages of her rare and long-term chronic disorder. She wants to ask questions about whether we can develop a sense of empathy towards the disorder and the actions within it, or is it overpowered by a sense of outrage and misunderstanding.

Dora Fodor is a vocalist, performer, and audiovisual artist. She was born in 1993 in Zagreb, where she graduated in Fashion Design at the Faculty of Textile Technology, University of Zagreb, and then obtained a Master’s degree in New Media, Academy of Fine Arts (2019) in Zagreb. She attended the high school of music “Fran Lhotka” in Sisak, majoring in opera singing, where she for the first time encounters the research of vocal structures and techniques. Her primary artistic field of interest is the exploration of social and emotional situations, reactions and relationships, and the translation and presentation of these processes into musical/sound structures. She takes an interdisciplinary approach to her works, both through collaborations with other artistic fields as well as collaborations and studies within the sciences of psychology, anthropology, sociology, physics, and computer programming. She built her musical experience through the improvisational electronic duo NTWave ft FEN, and many experimental improvisational ensembles. So far, she has attended the Indirect Festival, Project Ilica Multimedia Festival, Lazaretti Art Gallery, Aquarius Club, LUZ Festival, Reunited Festival, Club Szabadkikoto (Pečuh), Greta Gallery, Club Kset, as part of the Katalin Ladik (SC Zagreb) workshop, under the initiative Platforma.hr, Gallery Prozori, Club Močvara, Palm64, Museum of Broken Relationships, Experimental sound event Gibanja, Sounded Bodies Festival, Ateliers Žitnjak, Gallery Knifer, Garage Kamba, Vector Hack Festival, Pogon Jedinstva, VN Gallery…
